Kim Kardashian spared no expense when it came to the birth of her daughter, Chicago. This may have had something to do with the guilt she felt over not carrying Chicago herself (she was born via surrogate after Kim experienced pregnancy-related issues with North West and Saint).
The Kardashians star went all-out, with see-through cribs, a vintage Royère bed estimated at $85,000, and a glider. "I wanted to keep all the décor in neutral colors," Kim wrote on her app. She loved mixing old and new pieces together.
"I love having functional pieces, like a glider, mixed in with really unique pieces, like a vintage Royère bed," she wrote.
Even though the nursey cost a pretty penny, she also used hand-me-downs from her older kids. "I also ended up using the same crib, dresser, and rug that I used for North and Saint!" Who would've thought that the reality star could be so frugal?!
