10+ Of The Most Cringe YouTube Apology Videos Ever

Cringey YouTube apology videos give me literal life. I wish I could just watch them all day and allow them to nourish me. But sadly, I am not a shady YouTuber who has millions of subscribers and a shady past, that I'll have to apologize for in an insincere video while maintaining enough of an audience for me to still make money.

Sigh.

1. Gabbie Hanna and the Kenza Cosmetics scam.

Youtube | Tea Spill

YouTuber (and singer?) Gabbie Hanna was in some hot water a few months ago for promoting a scam website that was advertising "free" makeup brushes that claimed to be valued at over $60.

The catch? Just pay for shipping!

Promoting these brushes meant Gabbi received compensation alongside advocating for the brand and their "luxury" quality,

When fans told her their brushes were arriving late, damaged or just not at all, she told fans to "manage their expectations" in her sad excuse of an apology video.

2. Brittany Dawn Fitness

If you're a millennial, chances are you know someone that loves the gym so hard that they try to make it in the very competitive "workout guide" business. The YouTuber turned "business owner" Brittany Dawn Fitness has recently been called out for SCAMMING her loyal subbies.

Brittany decided to launch her own line of fitness guides, claiming to customize them for each costumer as well as make herself available to all clients.

The most expensive plan cost $300! But customers began noticing they weren't receiving their custom workout and meal plans, as all the messages and tips were very generic. Some people didn't even receive a guide at all.

Considering Brittany's audience is mostly young, impressionable women, people were PISSED.

So to try to save face, Brittany filmed a video titled "My Public Statement About The Past 24 Hours" in which she reads off the notepad on her iPhone and tries to cry about scamming thousands off her subscribers.

3. Laura Lee, lol.

Laura Lee was a popular YouTube beauty guru who has become infamous for posting one of the most uncomfortable apology videos your eyes will ever see.

After racist tweets from Laura's account resurfaced, Laura decided to take to the public and apologize.

If you want to cringe and cry laugh at the same time, watch this video. You can hear the sound of her bank account draining.

4. Tana Mongeau's apology video(s).

Youtube

Look, I'd like to give Tana more credit for being a consistent apologize-r, but why she keep effing up so much that she has to GIVE so many apologies, ya know?

5. Logan Paul aka the worst Paul brother... which is hard to do, tbh.

Youtube | Logan Paul

Remember when Logan Paul went to the Aokigahara forest in Fujikawaguchiko, Japan and filmed a dead body for views and has since been allowed to keep his channel monetized?

Waste mans.

6. Jason Nash attempting to apologize to Trisha Paytas after she was hella disrespected in David Dobrik's vlog just makes me sad.

Youtube | GoarDoor

You know Trish is serious when she's not in full glam.

The video has since been deleted from Jason's channel, but I'm magical and have it right here.

The contrast of them fighting in front of a printed canvas of them kissing is tough.

7. Manny MUA loves making a good apology video. The most cringe? When he had to address this moment with a fan:

Giphy

Which looks like he's shading a fan hardcore.

He claims he will "do better" in the future, though.

Imagine that being you?

8. Former Mukbang Queen Veronica Wang vs. Mukbang parody account Shookbang ft. YouTube and the LAW!

Youtube | idk

Veronica Wang tried to copyright strike parody account Shookbang after claiming his content was illegal, which spoiler alert - it was absolutely not.

She has since posted several "apology" videos and managed to attack fellow Mukbanger Nikkacado Avocado for defending Shookbang.

If you have a whole afternoon of "me" time, check this video saga out. It's pure petty deliciousness.

9. Alfie Deyes (I know right, throwback) apologizes after bitching about living off £1 for 24 hours. Remember when there was a YouTube "challenge" about living off of one British pound for a day, when in reality that's just life for many people in the UK.

This is just cringe because it shows his ignorance BUT he seems pretty sincere tbh.

10. My personal favorite apology so far was from GRAV3YARD GIRL after she ranted for 30 minutes about Starbucks not giving her three free drink refills a day anymore, which was always a policy violation to begin with. This is literally something she (a millionaire) complained about.

A highlights video is provided below:

She then tried to save face with another, even longer video explaining and apologizing for her bratty behavior.

She wanted Starbucks to reward her more than other costumers - that's the true iced tea.

11. You didn't have to watch Shay Carl (I didn't, lols) to cringe so hard at this crocodile tear apology video. YIKES.

Shay Carl had a family vlog channel (yuck) and was super religious (of course) so when a sex scandal involving him and a cam girl came out, fans were GUTTED.

You can watch him and his mullet cry about cheating on his wife and mother of five in the video down below.

Is he living in this car now? Unclear.

12. And finally, the most important apology video I've ever seen. You know why this is the most cringe? CAUSE IT'S SO DAMN TRUE!

How about YouTubers stop being ass-hats so that they don't have to keep apologizing?

But if you're reading this and you are a Youtuber that needs to apologize, I have compiled a checklist of things you will NEED to do in your video. #1 - sit on the floor.

Youtube | Tea Spill

Only happy people sit on the couch, and you're too sad and distraught for that.

#2 No makeup, sweats and a messy bun is mandatory to show you're being so EFFING real!

Youtube | MannyMUA

On the floor, of course.

#3 Repeat key phrases like "I am so disappointed in myself" and "I am even more sorry I disappointed you, my loyal subscribers."

Youtube | Logan Paul

Then just keep messing up cause 12-year-old stans will keep buying your merch.
