9+ Of The Most Unforgivable Mistakes In Movie History That We Can't Get Over

Have you ever been really, intensely into a movie? You're swept up in the narrative, worried for your favorite characters, feeling everything you're supposed to be feeling...

And then you spot a boom mic, or very out of place extra, or small detail constantly changing. Isn't that the worst?

If you said yes, this article is for you. If you said no...well, this article is still entertaining, so come on in, anyway.

"Lord of the Rings"

When Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring hit theatres, eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice a glaring error: a car.

Peter Jackson was so upset with the blooper that he had it edited out for the film's DVD release.

Man, that journey would have been a lot shorter with a car.

"Jurassic Park"

This one still bothers me, and I've seen this movie...more times than I'd care to admit.

While Nedry is "video chatting" with his contact at the dock, it's incredibly obvious that he's just talking to a pre-recorded video.

They even show the play bar at the bottom of the video.

"Frozen"

It's hard to imagine Pixar making a mistake, but it actually did happen in Frozen.

When Anna cuts she and Kristoff free, they're tied together with a rope.

However, when they land, the rope is magically gone. Oops!

"The Avengers"

We know that Cap is strong, but did you know that his suit is even stronger?

Cap takes a blow from a Chitauri weapon, which burns his suit. However, after the battle is over, the burn is nowhere to be seen.

"Quantum of Solace"

Giphy

This one is so famously bad that multiple gifs exist of it.

In an effort to try and keep the background sound down (and perhaps to avoid dust clouds) this extra demonstrates how not to use a broom.

Art.

"Star Wars"

Giphy

This notorious blooper is well-known amongst Star Wars fans for its comedy gold status.

Is there anything better than seeing a Storm Trooper hit its head on a clearly visible door? Answer: Probably, but enjoy this gif, anyway.

"Harry Potter"

Duelling Club got wild, but not for the reasons you'd think.

While Harry and Malfoy battle it out in front of Snape and Lockhart, a cameraman can clearly be seen kneeling next to the assembled Hogwarts students.

I thought Muggle technology didn't work inside Hogwarts?

"Wonder Woman"

Wonder Woman ran into some continuity problems right before Diana's big No Man's Land scene.

While standing in the trenches, an extra behind Gal Gadot appears and then disappears with no explanation.

"Pirates of the Caribbean"

What's the one thing you don't expect to see in a Pirates of the Caribbean movie?

It's definitely a guy in a cowboy hat and sunglasses, right?

And yet, you can clearly see what looks to be a crew member in the background of Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl.

"Gladiator"

During an intense chariot race, one is upended and flips on its side.

And thanks to that accident happening center stage, we can all see the obvious gas canister that was used to make that stunt happen in the first place.

Ancient Rome had gas canisters, right?

"Jaws"

In this wide shot, you can clearly see that the lead boat has a camera and a camera operator on it.

There wasn't a lot the crew of Jaws could have done to avoid this blooper. Post production VFX didn't exist yet!

"Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice"

YouTube | Warner Brothers

When Superman is "killed," he collapses on the ground with his eyes wide open.

However, when Batman approaches his body, his eyes are suddenly closed.

Maybe Henry Cavill just couldn't keep his eyes open for that long?

"Braveheart"

Listen. It's a period drama. This stuff is going to happen.

But maybe...people could check where they park their cars? Like in Lord of the Rings, Braveheart suffers from a pretty serious anachronism in the form of a regular car parked behind the running horses.

"The Bourne Identity"

YouTube | Top5Central

This is so funny.

In The Bourne Identity, Matt Damon's Jason is supposed to vanish as a car drives past.

In order to achieve that, they simply had Matt duck and run alongside the car. Unfortunately, since he was in a bright red, puffy jacket...you can see the entire thing.

"Castaway"

WILSON!!!

Tom Hanks accidentally creates Wilson in Castaway using a bloody handprint.

However, his original handprint doesn't match the one he works with later on. Instead of having a spiky mohawk, Wilson has more of a Guy Fieri spike to his hair.
