Hilary Duff Gets Real About Breastfeeding With A Raw Instagram Post

Hilary Duff is basically a Super-Mom. Not only is she an amazing mom to her two children, but she does it all while filming new episodes of Younger and a few upcoming movie projects.

In a new Instagram post, Hilary Duff got real about her struggles with breastfeeding. She shared this post in the hopes that it would help some other moms out there who might be struggling, too.

Hilary Duff welcomed a baby girl in the fall of 2018.

This is her first child with partner Matthew Koma and they named their daughter, Banks.

Hilary is also the mom of her seven-year-old son, Luca, from her marriage to Mike Comrie.

Hilary has been honest about her struggles with motherhood.

Unfortunately, Banks suffered from colic during the first few months.

Colic is common in babies but it can make them cry uncontrollably and be very irritable. It's a difficult condition for parents and babies to go through.

She's also shared updates about her breastfeeding journey.

She shared this relatable photo of breastfeeding Banks while trying to eat some of her own lunch. Moms need to eat, too!

Hilary even copied Rachel McAdams' viral breast-pumping photo.

I've never seen two moms looking more glamorous while pumping milk. You go, girls!

Now, in a new and honest update to fans, Hilary explained why she had decided to end her breastfeeding journey with Banks.

Hilary is currently filming a new season of her show and found pumping at work to be impossible.

"Pumping at work sucks. I had zero down time and am usually pumping in a hair and make up trailer while four hands work to get me ready for the next scene with lots of other people around," she said.

There were a lot of factors that went into her decision, but ultimately, she shared her story to help other moms who might be struggling.

"I wanted to share this because deciding to stop BFing was so emotional and hard," she said.

Since sharing her post, many other celeb moms have applauded Hilary for her honesty.
