24 Bizarre Finds That Are Cooler Than You Think

I love thrift shopping, it's a pretty good time. Yeah, it can be gross and every thrift shop ever has the same smell, but every once and a while you find something that is super cool or, if you're lucky, secretly expensive.

But, think of this. The hunt for cool things that are more than they appear doesn't have to be limited to thrift shops...the whole world could be a thrift shop if you wanted it to be. The world is full of strange things.

1. This is really neat! I have to admit that I always believed the "key to the city" thing was symbolic and that you didn't actually get a key.

2. Sure, sure this looks like a Budweiser — you've seen one, you've seen a million — but this one is a bit more than that.

It's a vintage can from somewhere between 1964–1972 and it is still unopened! I bet there aren't too many of those around.

3. Imagine going into Goodwill and taking a walk down memory lane when you pick up a CD you once loved.

4. Alright, ready for this one? It totally blew my mind.

So, the person who bought these paid $75 for them and I thought that was pricey. Turns out that they're worth $1,000 or more! That is absolutely insane! Talk about a steal.

5. Imagine being given a jacket from someone or buying it secondhand, and then putting your hands in the pocket and pulling out Elvis tickets!

7. This champagne bottle is unopened and it's from WWII!

11. So, someone paid $1 for this sheet music and it turns out that there are more than 50 sheets of music all from the late 1800s.

15. This cup was made in 1911 and has uranium in it!
