Kylie Jenner Is Being Dragged For Supporting Jaclyn Hill's Hairy Lipsticks

Kylie Jenner is one busy lady. Not only does she run a multi-million dollar brand, sis is a mother of a literal baby baby! Any mom to a toddler will tell you they're busy (I wouldn't know cause ? babies ?) and that they just don't have time to keep up with everything!

Which is ironic because Kylie and her family literally STAR on a show called "KEEPING UP With The Kardashians" but alas, here we are.

Anyway, so we've established that Kylie is busy.

Kylie has been *so* busy that she's missed out on all the controversy that is going on in the beauty community.

Specially, what's going on in the YouTube beauty community.

YouTube beauty guru Jaclyn Hill recently launched her own line of cosmetics this past month, starting with a collection of nude lipsticks.

Jaclyn boasted this cosmetics line was "years in the making" and she wanted viewers to "trust her brand."

But by now, you've probably heard about what happened when people actually received their lipsticks.

The lipsticks were covered in black holes. People were finding HAIRS in their lipsticks. People's lipsticks were MELTING upon arrival.

It has been a full blown disaster all over social media. Literally *everyone* is talking about this.

So it's wild that social media mogul Kylie Jenner hasn't heard about it...

I know you're probably wondering HOW I KNOW PERSONALLY that Kylie didn't know about this.

YouTube | Architectural Digest

Well guys, I'm very smart, what can I say?

LOL JK, I know because Kylie posted this super cringey Instagram story yesterday.

It's a video of Kylie opening up Jaclyn's PR package saying "can't wait to try these."

Sis goes on to talk about the gorgeous packaging like she has no idea the lipsticks could possibly be HAIRY.

Instagram | @hereforthetea2

"This PR box is MAGICAL" Kylie gushes.

After a few minutes, Kylie deleted the story (probably due to *insane* backlash) and pretended it never happened.

Instagram | @kyliejenner

Fans began accusing Jenner of being removed from reality.

I believe Kylie truly had no idea cause this ish is SO embarrassing, lol.

Instagram | @kyliejenner

"That's how you know she's so out of touch with the world. Lol" wrote one Insta user.

I'll just take a guess and say Kylie will continue on her way, totally unbothered, just like she usually does.

And for that, we have to respect her???

But also Jaclyn, what are *you* doing sis?

Have some pride in your products!

Now to be fair, Jaclyn *has* addressed her hairy lipsticks in an excuse filled YouTube video simply titled "My Lipsticks."

YouTube | Jaclyn Hill

She alleged the quality was down because the lab she used pushed out THOUSANDS of lipsticks in three weeks...

Jaclyn filmed the video in sweats so we know she truly means apology business.

YouTube | Jaclyn Hill

She starts out the video by letting fans know what she's going to be talking about, "I wanna talk about the melting issue. I wanna talk about white fuzzies."

She continued, "I wanna talk about the black holes and I wanna talk about the grittiness and texture you guys are experiencing."

YouTube | Jaclyn Hill

Which is a tough list of things to have to address in a video about LIPSTICKS.

In regards to the accusations that her lipsticks were expired, Jaclyn said the lab didn't go into mass production until the same month that she launched her brand.

YouTube | Jaclyn Hill

"Mass production did not go into production until right before my launch because we wanted them to be fresh."

Jaclyn then went on to say her lipsticks were totally still safe to use, "My lipsticks are not moldy. They are not hazardous. They are not contaminated. They are not unsafe for you in any way. shape or form."

YouTube | Jaclyn Hill

Jaclyn then proceeded to attach a photocopy of her Certificate of Good Manufactoring Practice from April 2017.

In regards to the black dots, Jaclyn claims they're oxygen bubbles from the cool down process.

YouTube | Jaclyn Hill

'It's not actually like black holes. Again, it's not mold. It is oxygen and it is 100% safe, it's not gonna hurt you."

Jaclyn claims the chunks and texture in the lipsticks is coming from the ingredients not being mixed together properly.

YouTube | Jaclyn Hill

"That vat is not breaking down all of my raw materials because we produced so many lipsticks so quickly... We made a lot of product in a very short amount of time."

In retrospect, Jaclyn agrees the lab moved too quickly and that caused the product to be rushed and the ingredients to not be blended properly.

YouTube | Jaclyn Hill

And now, the white fuzzies...

Jaclyn claims the lab decided to use white cloth gloves instead of the standard rubber gloves because of the metal like material used in the lipstick component.

YouTube | Jaclyn Hill

She claims the lab didn't want to put smudges on the component so they instead used cloth gloves that shed a lot of lint. She claims these gloves are no longer being used.

Lastly, Jaclyn addressed the melting issue, saying her lipsticks were not designed to withstand intense heat and recommends costumers let their lipsticks cool before opening them.

YouTube | Jaclyn Hill

She explains it's a very creamy lipstick formula but when they're being shipped across the country with different temperatures, they're prone to sweating and melting.

I mean...it's a whole mess to say the LEAST.

At least Kylie Skin products didn't have hair in them, amirite Kylie????
