Have you been to a Dunkin' Donuts location lately? Did you notice something different? Apparently, there are unusual markings on some Dunkin' Donuts doors that have people questioning asking the question, "What are those for?"

So I'm here to solve the mystery for you, and you won't believe what it's all about once I tell you. It's really interesting, I promise, hee-hee.

What is your favorite fast-food joint?

If you answered Dunkin' Donuts, then this article is for you. I'm going to share something with you that I bet you had no idea about, aha! I recently stumbled upon a TikTok video that explains it all and let's just say people were shocked.

Check this out!

A woman who goes by the TikTok handle, officialjuice93, posted a video on the platform with a funny caption. It said, "Tell me your Dunkin has been robbed without telling me they've been robed. I'll go first."

So what did she mean by that?

Well, her video then pans to the door of her local Dunkin' Donuts location. You can clearly see height markings on the doors. But why? Well, that's exactly what people online were confused about, and I'm about to tell you the reason for it.

As I said most people were pretty confused, haha.

The majority of them thought the height markers on the doors were there for fun. But that's totally not true. You see, the reason they're there is in case of robbery. So that way, the witnesses can tell the police how tall the perpetrator was when they entered the place.

OMG, what?

I literally had no idea about this practice. But apparently, banks do this too. Wow! I don't think I've ever seen that anywhere. That might be because I live in Canada. I don't think we have that here.

As it turns out, lots of folks didn't know about this too.

They all thought it was for fun, ha, ha. Boy, did they get a rude awakening here, no? Just when you thought it was safe to go out there, you get reminded of things like these. I'm not too happy about this. I want to eat in peace.

Some have seen these markings before.

And it was on a bank door of all places. It does make sense to me now that I know what the purpose of it is. But still, it does make me feel better thinking about it the other way. I guess I prefer to stay innocent.

And then this person chimed in too.

According to them, they have those at some gas stations too. Oh my goodness, I suppose we will see more of those. Not sure how I feel about that, to be honest. How about you? Does that make you feel nervous?

So did you know about this or was this a total shock to you?

And if you didn't, does that make you feel uncomfortable? I guess I would rather not know about this and live in total oblivion. At least that's how I feel about it today. Maybe I'll change my mind someday.
