We never thought we'd see the day, but Snooki's fist-pumping days are over.
She's leaving Jersey Shore.
The reality star just announced the heartbreaking news, so excuse us while we go cry and take a shot of pickle juice in her honor.

Thanks to her fun-loving ways, she was a fan-favorite right from the get-go.
I mean, how could she not be when the first thing that came out of her mouth upon entering the Jersey Shore house was, "party's here!"
The 32-year-old has now appeared on all three seasons of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
She's made quite the name for herself outside of her Jersey Shore antics.
For instance, she had her own spin-off show with BFF and Jersey Shore alum, JWoww, a stint on Dancing with the Stars, and even her own renovation show with her husband.
It was actually on this platform where she announced the sad news that she's retiring from Jersey Shore.
"OK, you guys, I love you so much and don't hate me for my decision, but I have to do what's best for me at the moment, and I am retiring from Jersey Shore."
There are several reasons why she decided to leave, but the biggest and most important one comes down to this:
She doesn't want to leave her family anymore.
This includes her husband Jionni LaValle and their three kids, Lorenzo, Giovanna, and baby Angelo.
"I hate being away from the kids, I don't like partying three days in a row, it's just not my life anymore," she shared.
She added that she doesn't like the way she's being portrayed on the show.
She wants to appear as a "good person," but all of the drama has been making that difficult.
"And lately, it's just like, everything is so serious, and when it comes to our show it's not about like, team this, team that, and fans are against one another when it comes to a cast member. That's just not how the show works and that's how it's becoming."
They're not just directed to her, though — they're also directed to her kids. That would be reason enough for anyone to want to leave.
The protective mamma said that it's “just a lot and not something I signed up for with this show.”
A close source told E! that the roomies are "not surprised about Snooki's decision not to return to the show."
"Her fight with Angelina was one of those moments that she 'tried to quit' like she said on her podcast. She really almost did that night."
“I’m not saying goodbye,” she said.
“I just need to move on from the show because I don’t like the direction it’s going in when it comes to the drama and the cattiness.”
"I love my roomies to death — they know that. I'm not going anywhere when it comes to them and them being my family."
In other words, the family that GTL's (gym, tan, laundry) together, stays together.
We'll miss you, Snook!
