Make Thanksgiving Surprising With A Stuffed Turkey Cake Filled With Candy And Cubed-Cake 'Stuffing'

As they say, what happens at Thanksgiving stays at Thanksgiving. Seriously, you truly never know what's going to happen when your family members from across the country get together. There will be intense political debates, there will be unwanted criticism about your new tattoo, there will be awkward forced conversations with cousins you talk to for two minutes once a year, and there will be fresh drama that tears the family apart for another six months until we pretend everything's find again at the next Thanksgiving.

And as if 2020 needed anymore surprises, you can help cut through the drama and present your family with a stuffed turkey cake that should divert their attention for a bit.

Turkey isn't everyone's thing, but cake sure is.

That's why this stuffed turkey cake by Beth over at Hungry Happenings is sure to make the fam light up with delight at Thanksgiving.

Not only does it look exactly like a cooked turkey, but it's also stuffed with candy corn and cubes of cake "stuffing."

If you thought you were dismissed from carving the turkey at this year's Thanksgiving, I hate to tell you, but you'll have to do some carving, or should I say "sculpting" for this cake.

With two sheets of cake, you'll have to carve the body of the turkey, its wings, and legs, gluing them altogether with icing.

Consider it like a fun arts and crafts activity or art therapy, however you choose to look at it.

Just let your inner turkey artiste flow out of you like the candy corn its filled with.

Doesn't this look like a real turkey that just came out of the oven?

This is what it should look like when all is said and done.
