Jamie Lee Curtis Celebrates Her 62nd Birthday

Jamie Lee Curtis is truly a legend in every sense of the word. I mean, why ELSE would Activa yogurt pick her as their only celebrity sponsor?!

In addition to caring about our gut flora, Jamie Lee has made us care about scary movies! Think about it – without the Halloween franchise, where would the scary movie genre be today?!

Honestly, I don't even want to know!

Jamie Lee Curtis is a celebrity that *multiple* generations grew up with. How cool is that?! I mean, I guess it makes sense since the actress has been in the biz since the late '70s!

Fans will know her film debut was in John Carpenter's 1978 classic, Halloween! This film cemented Jamie's permanent place in scary movie culture forever!

Seriously, you can't flick through the channels in October without seeing Halloween on at least 10 times a day!

Jamie would go on to star in *several more* Halloween films when I think they should have just stopped — but maybe that's just me!

She also was featured in cult classic films like A Fish Called Wanda, Mother'a Boys, Virus, My Girl, and Fierce Creatures!

She has absolutely proved to everyone she isn't just a scream queen!

Speaking of Scream Queens, she starred in that show, too!

More recently, the 62-year-old starred in the blockbuster hit *Knives Out* with essentially half of Hollywood's heavy-weight actors.

With a cast featuring Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Toni Collette, Michael Shannon, Christopher Plummer, Don Johnson and queen Jamie Lee, you know it's going to be a masterpiece — and it was!

In addition to her amazing Hollywood career, Jamie has been a fabulous mother to her two children, Annie and Thomas Guest.

Jamie and her beau Christopher Guest have been married since 1994!

That's like three lifetimes by Hollywood standards!

Jamie also has an amazingly soft spot for her fans. Just recently, she officiated a wedding for a *Halloween* superfan an hour before he passed away.

According to Deadline, Halloween superfan Anthony Woodle was able to marry his longtime girlfriend Emilee in a ceremony officiated by Jamie, who is an ordained minister.

Prior to the 30-year-old aspiring director being diagnosed with esophageal cancer last year, he had been in touch with Rough House Productions, the South Carolina house that is reviving the Halloween franchise.

Jamie was able to make Anthony's final wish come true, as he passed away just an hour after the ceremony.

Jamie Lee Curtis' passion, heart and love for what she does is why she is truly one of the best in the biz.

Happy birthday, Jamie!
