Candace Cameron Bure Says 'Keep Your Mouth Shut' To Haters After Instagram Backlash

Don't come for the queen!

Candace Cameron Bure is one celebrity I really see myself in — not only is she gorgeous, talented, and successful (thank you) but she's whip-smart and never afraid to tell the trolls online exactly where they can put their unwelcome opinions on her life, her family, or anything else. We should all be a little bit more like Candace!

Candace is a very familiar face to basically anyone with a TV set.

I can't even work my TV half the time and I know who she is, so that's saying something!

Candace is best known for being queen of the Christmas movie as well as her role on Full House, but she also is pretty famous for her clapbacks too.

After Candace shared her untraditional take on a family Christmas photo, she got a *lot* of unwarranted criticism.

The photo was criticized for the family's outfits, different facial expressions, and for their daughter not looking at the camera — like any of that matters!

"What’s wrong with Natasha, looks like she’s photoshopped," wrote one fan.

"Fakest family ever! Who does this? Is it a catalog picture? And those dead looks on your kids’ faces says it all," commented another.

"You know, people forget that, yes, I'm a celebrity — but I'm a real person," Candace opened up about the backlash in a new interview.

"I was simply sharing a family Christmas card. And it's so strange to me that people have the audacity to write horrible and negative comments. Like, you would never say that to someone's face," she said.

I would HOPE you wouldn't — if someone criticized MY family like that to MY face, they'd be getting a lot more than some angry words from me!

Candace discussed her take-no-nonsense response to the criticism.

At the time, Candace had commented on her picture, saying, "Wow- I post a family photo and you all find everything you don’t like about it or can make fun of. Do better than that. Please."

She definitely wasn't messing around!

Candace had some hard questions for all the haters.

"Do you think it’s funny to criticize someone’s children? To make jokes about them? To critique our poses? The direction in which we are looking? Our physical appearance and facial expressions?" she asked.

When the interviewer brought up this response, Candace had pretty much the best justification.

Candace called the comment a reminder.

"It was more about a reminder, like, I'm sharing the best of what I believe my family is on a Christmas card, so keep your mouth shut," she said. "If you don't like it, just scroll on."

You tell 'em, sister!

We love Candace AND we love that she's not afraid to tell it like is!
