One of my least favorite things is when I fall in love with a new flavor of snack only for it to be a limited time offer.
Like, brands, you've hooked me in. I'm obsessively buying your product, so back off and don't take away my peanut butter Kit Kat!
Ahem.
The "Tastes of America" series included eight limited time flavors inspired by local classics, from Chile Con Queso to Fried Pickles with Ranch. Not to mention special edition flavors of the wavy chips too.
Personally, I'm not a pickle chip person, so that didn't excite me very much, but it gave me hope that other flavors might have been popular enough to return to shelves.
Now this is more my style!
I really like pizza-inspired chip flavors, so this one was definitely for me from the beginning.
So it's hard to know if the final flavor is exactly the same as the previous version or if they tweaked it based on feedback.
If you're in it for the tomato sauce and Italian herbs, then these will be perfect for you.
However, if you're in it for the cheese, they may be lackluster. Personally, I already have plenty of cheese-related chip flavors to enjoy, so I like the tomato-y focus of these.
So far, it's only been spotted at Costco, but keep an eye out for it at your local snack supplier!
