This Artist Turned A Boring Skipping Stone Into A Spooky Spider Sculpture

When I look around in nature, I usually just admire all the cool things taking place. Bugs wiggling around rocks, momma birds flying to their nests to tend to their children, you name it — nature is just freaking NEAT.

Some people have the ability to see nature, appreciate it, and creatively think about how they can bring more beauty to it. That's exactly what this one artist did.

This artist filmed the whole process of how he carved a spider into this skipping stone.

This really is a nice looking stone. I mean, imagine having the eye to spot such a nice looking rock to throw back into the water!

Except he didn't.

He took it back to his place and began carving into it using some small rotor tools.

His precision is wild!

At first you don't know what he's carving into the stone, but then it starts to appear.

I'm not sure I like where this is going...

Yep, it's a huge black spider.

I mean, his work is amazing! It really looks realistic, but that's also the problem.

Anyone terrified of spiders who comes across this rock might be accidentally throwing it back into the water.
