10+ Celebrities Who Keep Their Family Life Private

When a person chooses fame as a career, they know exactly what they're signing up for: a life of no privacy.

But that hasn't stopped many of them from trying to attain the opposite. This often extends to their kids.

Whether they cover their kids' faces with an emoji on social media or don't show them at all, every celeb parent has the right to keep their lives private.

Here are 10+ celebs who keep their family life on the DL.

1. Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard

One thing that you'll probably have already noticed is that the couple never shows their children's faces (Delta and Lincoln) on social media. Kristen and Dax will always blur their faces or put an emoticon on top.

Bell explained in an interview with Romper that she doesn't know if her kids want a public life.

"I don't know if they will want that. So I really don't have the right to choose for them," Kristen reflected.

2. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds

These adorable parents have a knack of hiding details about their three daughters.

In addition to not revealing names for a long time, Blake hid the fact that she gave birth to her third child for two whole months!

When speaking to *Marie Claire* in 2016, Blake revealed why a private life for the family is so essential.

“Ryan had a nice, normal upbringing, and we want our kids to have the same normal life that we had," she said.

"We don’t ever want to rob them of what we had because then we’d feel really selfish.”

3. Sarah Jessica Parker

The Sex and the City star has been married to actor Matthew Broderick since 1997, but there's a reason you don't hear much about their family.

While *The Office* star shares glimpses of her children on social media, she never shows their faces.

“People say, ‘Did you even have a baby?’” Kaling joked to Today back in 2018 about first daughter, Katherine.
