Ryan Reynolds Shares Important Message About His Struggle With Anxiety

We're so used to Ryan Reynolds being goofy on social media — and we love him for it!

Remember his troll war with Hugh Jackman?

The actor took a turn for the serious recently when he shared an important message about mental health.

There was no humor, no snark, just a deeply vulnerable message that truly resonated with fans.

Ryan Reynolds is taking part of Mental Health Awareness Month.

The Deadpool actor recently opened up about his "lifelong struggle" with anxiety on Instagram.

He began by sharing that he made this post near the end of the month since his anxiety causes him scheduling problems.

He made sure to remind people that they're not alone.

"I know I'm not alone and more importantly, to all to those like me who overschedule, overthink, overwork, over-worry and over-everything, please know you're not alone," he shared.

"We don't talk enough about mental health and don't do enough to destigmatize talking about it," he continued.

"But, as with this post, better late than never, I hope." Ryan's post accomplished just that, as it resonated with fellow anxiety sufferers and and got people talking.

"Thank you for this. Your words matter so much in the destigmatization process," wrote Dr. Becky Kennedy, who's a psychologist.

"Thank you Ryan for having the courage to share. It will surely help others," added another.

We ditto that. Thank you, Ryan! See his post here.
