They make the space more inviting and chic. What do you think? Do you do that too? Well, if that sounds good to you, so will this.

There's a cool video on TikTok that I must tell you about.

In it, a woman shows how she gives her white taper candles a marble effect. OMG, what? Yes, exactly. That's what I thought too. You've got to see this ASAP.

You won't believe how easy this is to do.

All this lady does is use the smoke from a flame to create this amazing effect. So let me tell you exactly what you will need. Are you ready? Let's get to it. Shall we?

All you need are white taper candles, candle holders, and a lighter or matches.

The first thing you do is light a candle. Let it burn for a while, then twist another candle through the flame. Wow! Isn't that pretty neat?

Here's how it works.

The black smoke from the flame will leave marks on the white candle, which then creates a marble effect. I absolutely love that idea. I don't know about you, but I think this is pretty genius.

Check out this video to see exactly how to do it yourself.

I mean, who needs to spend a lot of money to buy marble candles when you can do it as easy as this, huh? This concept is absolutely fantastic.

I'm pretty sure you can also do this with candles that aren't white.

It does look best on white ones, but you can get away with a cool effect on a pink one, for example. That would look so feminine, no?

This idea could make dollar-store taper candles look high-end.

And who doesn't like that, huh? It's a much better option than paying for expensive candles that have this design on them.

So what do you think of this idea?

Would you attempt to do something like this for your home decor? If you do, please be careful so you don't burn yourself or start a fire. Safety is always number one in my book. Am I right?
