Woman Explains How Her Brother Is Her Twin Even Though They Were Born 2 Years Apart

Sarah Sargent has quite a unique family.

The TikToker was born a whole two years after her twin brother.

Let me write that again: she was born a whole two years after her twin brother. No, this isn't a riddle or a brain teaser. It's the truth!

After making thousands of TikTok users scratch their heads in confusion, Sarah gave a proper explanation.

Sarah's first viral video about the situation has gained over 10.5 million views!

In it, she explains through song and dance (how else would TikTokers explain things?) why people get confused when she says that she and her brother are twins without looking anything alike.

AND being born two years apart.

"We were born in the same womb," the text on the video writes.

"I was put in the freezer for two years," she continues, before writing, "We are IVF twins."

If you're confused over this, you're not alone. Many TikTok users left comments. "I'm genuinely so confused. What?" one wrote.

"It kinda blows my mind to think you were frozen in a freezer for two years, and now you're a human," wrote another.

This prompted one to joke that Sarah's mom did the "Costco method." "Buy in bulk, put some in the freezer. Mad respect."

The jokes kept coming:

"Your mom can't ever get mad at you for leaving meat in the freezer. She let you stay tin there for 2 years," a user commented with laughing emojis. "Hahahaha that's good I'll use that," Sarah replied.

In the caption of the video, Sarah also said that her parents "forgot" to tell her this.

Since many people were still confused over the situation, she posted a follow-up video to clarify things.

She also introduced her "twin" brother! That's definitely a relative term since they don't look anything alike.

But as Sarah explained in the video, they also don't share the same birthday or act the same.

This prompted some users to argue that Sarah and her brother are *not* twins.

"As a man of twins AND an IVF mom; NOT twins!" one wrote. "You aren't twins yo. just siblings," added another. "They are twins but not really twins," a third wrote.

After this, people STILL wanted more of an explanation.

Sarah delivered by posting a third video of the series. "So my brother is two years older than me and yes, we are twins because we were born through IVF and were formed in the same womb."

"It just took me out and put me in an IVF freezer for two years," she continued.

She wasn't a full baby at the time since that would be, you know, inhumane. She was an embryo.

After two years, when her parents were ready for another baby, they took her out of the freezer and had her.

"So, as my parents explained to me, I was the fourth, most viable embryo, and apparently the chances of me working were quite low, but I did work," she continued.

Her brother, on the other hand, was the first most viable embryo. Sarah went on to say that her parents didn't reveal this until her until she was 16.

She even posted a clip of her reaction when her parents told her the news.

It shows Sarah with her hands over her face in shock while her dad's voice in the background says, "It was frozen for a couple of years."

Now that the full story was out there, people had more to say.

"So, you are genuine ice princess, Quite impressive," one wrote.

"Imagine how funny it would have been if they'd told you at like 5 and you'd eplained it to all the other 5 year olds," another wrote.

More people were also insistent that Sarah and her brother are not twins.

Well, everyone has an opinion.
