Well finally! It seems that the people who made this movie are finally seeing the light and just making Sonic the way he should've been designed in the first place:

Does anyone remember that 'Sonic The Hedgehog' movie trailer?
The one from April (so pretty much years ago) that blew up the internet?
Not because it looked cool or anything, but because of how bad the movie's version of Sonic looked.
To some he was terrifying, to others he was just an insult to the games.

Either way, it was safe to say that people didn't like how their beloved sonic looked in this new movie.
So, the studio had a choice: proceed with the movie as planned...
Or change Sonic so that people would actually see the movie.

In order to make money when it came out, they decided to go with the latter.
So, we waited a while, and then something else interesting happened (there was this attack on Area 51 we were supposed to do, but that never happened).
But then, suddenly...
We got this tweet!
This is how the redesigned Sonic looks and it is much, much better. There has been a lot of positive feedback for this character and if they keep this fan service up...
They could have a hit.
