18 Kids Who Understood The Assignment When It Came To Halloween

I'm not going to lie to you, Halloween is my favorite occasion. It's especially true because I didn't grow up with it. As a kid, I didn't get to go trick-or-treating.

So when I came to Canada, I was blown away by how fun the whole spectacle was for kids. After all, they get to dress up as their favorite characters and ask for candy. What's not to love?

1. This Superman

This is such a great example that shows every child can enjoy Halloween. In my book, this boy is such a superman. Don't you think? Aww, this is amazing indeed.

2. This Cabbage Patch Kid

I've got to admit I never had any Cabbage Patch Kid dolls. Since I grew up in Europe, they weren't popular there. But I still get a kick out of seeing a mom make this adorable costume for her daughter here.

3. This Ace Ventura

Jim Carrey's Ace Ventura is quite the character. Am I right? So it's really fantastic to see this little girl trying to channel him. Don't you think she did such a great job here? Aww, so cute.

4. This 'Minister of Silly Walks'

Speaking of characters, here's another one for you. This young lady here definitely nailed the whole stance of the "Minister of Silly Walks" idea here. I think John Cleese would be so proud of her.

5. This Baby Yoda

This little guy had quite the entrance into this world. He was born only at 25 weeks. So his devoted nurse made him the cutest "Baby Yoda" costume she could have thought of here, and I think it's so sweet.

6. This Boba Fett

Speaking of Star Wars, here's another amazing costume for you. I can't believe that some parents really go all out to make their kid's Halloween dreams come true. I would probably suck at this DIY, ha, ha!

7. This Funny Take

Okay, the last one for those Star Wars fans. What happens when you're wearing a Mandalorian costume, and somebody hands you a panda head? Well, of course, you become a Pandelorian, hehe. I can't stop laughing at this.

8. These Top Guns

Moving on to another film genre. This is one of my favorite '80s flicks, that's for sure. These two would fit right in at the Top Gun academy. Don't you think? Something tells me that Maverick and Goose would approve, lol.

9. This Eclipse Armor

Let's give a round of applause to this talented parent once again. This time they made their kid eclipse armor from Netflix's Trollhunters. How do people come up with stuff like that? Inquiring minds want to know, ha, ha!

10. This Adorable Assistant

This kid totally understood the assignment, and he's the perfect assistant to the regional director. Don't you think? I hope he keeps this sense of humor right into his adulthood. Who knows what he'll come up with one day.

11. This Scary Duo

Oh, my. What's going on here, haha? Okay, let's discuss the elephant in the room. This little girl is dressed as a 'headless girl' while her sister is dressed as a 'butcher.' That's quite a scene, isn't it?

12. This Little Trooper

This little boy was also born at 25 weeks. So his parents made him a very fitting Halloween costume. I really do hope their wish for him to come home for Christmas came true last year.

13. This Clown

Who here is afraid of clowns? Raise your hand, please. I would be the first one to admit it. But the only exception would be an amazing costume like this one. It's both scary and cute, no?

14. This Grandmama

Oh my goodness. Is this not the cutest thing you've ever seen? If you ever thought your kids resembled your parents more than you, this would be the idea to take and run with, hee-hee. I bet she looks just like her grandma.

15. This Predator

This costume here is truly special. A mom actually crocheted an entire costume for her son. And get this, it even glows in the dark. I mean, what? I can't crochet to save my life and she does that? Wow!

16. This Little Freddie

If you were to dress up your kid like a celebrity, who would you pick? This person here chose Freddie Mercury, and I think the kid has it down to a tee. Don't you think so? I love it.

17. This Colonel Sanders

What costume requires you to carry a bucket the entire time? Well, it would be no other than Colonel Sanders, ha, ha! I say not only does it look adorable, but it's pretty handy for all the candy too.

18. These Two Rascals

How do you come up with a unique costume idea that both your kids can share? This is how. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, slinky dog. Yes, it's all fun and games until they run in different directions, hee-hee!

I'm so amazed by all these incredibly creative kids' Halloween costumes.

Don't you think we should give credit to both the parents and the kids equally? With an imagination like this, who knows what these kiddos could come up with next, huh? Which one of these is your favorite?
