Betty White, 98, Is 'Doing Very Well' During Coronavirus Pandemic So We Can All Relax

There are some celebrities who are just national treasures. We love Tom Hanks, we love Jason Momoa, we love Dolly Parton, and, maybe most of all, we love Betty White.

Information about the coronavirus pandemic is rapidly changing and Diply is committed to providing the most recent data as it becomes available. Some of the information in this story may have changed since publication, and we encourage readers to use online resources from CDC and WHO to stay up to date on the latest information surrounding COVID-19.

We've all had that moment of fear online.

You're scrolling through Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, when you see Betty White's name trending and your heart drops in fear. There are just some celebrities we couldn't stand to lose, and she's definitely at the top of the list. This moment of fear happened over the weekend to many who saw Betty as the number one trending topic on Twitter.

Thankfully, she was trending for a fantastic reason.

Betty was trending precisely because she was just fine. Betty's rep had spoken to People to inform them and all of Betty's fans that Betty is "being very safe during these trying times," and that "no one [is] permitted in except those who must."

Her rep said that Betty is "doing very well," and is in overall good spirits.

Her rep added that "We always have laughs," which seems like a given, given how naturally hilarious Betty is. The rep also added that Betty "has helpers who are great with her," so we don't need to worry about that.

Betty's rep revealed the star is almost living the life of a Disney princess.

"Betty has a beautiful backyard with a number of wild animals visiting," her rep said. "Two ducks always come by to say hello. They waddle up to her glass door and look in."

Even ducks can't resist the call of Betty White's charms!

Obviously, fans were relieved to hear that it was all good news on Betty's side.

"I WANT ROUND-THE-CLOCK SECURITY AROUND BETTY WHITE," tweeted one fan, while another added that "i am social distancing for betty white."

Both are appropriate reactions, in my opinion. Seeing Betty's name trend was scary for her fans (which, let's be real, is pretty much everyone) so the relief was wide-spread.

"Betty White shouldn't be allowed to trend on twitter," one fan wrote.

"It makes me worry every time," they continued.

"I’m convinced that Betty white is immortal. She’s always just doing good no matter what," another fan joked.

Honestly, we can only hope!

We're also so glad to hear that Betty is doing well!

Honestly, I'm a little bit jealous of her quarantine situation — I haven't seen any ducks waddling up to my window to say hello!

Luckily, Betty's in good spirits, so we can all relax and sit patiently awaiting her next movie.

Earlier in May, it was announced that Betty would be starring in a Lifetime Christmas movie!

Of course, all Lifetime movies have halted their filming for now, but the network described its holiday movies as being in "various stages of production."

However, they were sure to let us know that Betty might be playing a very iconic part.

In the film, Betty's character is helping would-be Santas get ready for the season.

The mystery of it all hinges on the following question: is Betty White actually Mrs. Claus?

I don't know about you, but that's maybe the best casting for a movie I've ever heard of. Betty as Mrs. Claus (maybe) is genius!
